LAURENT FISCUS, NEW ANTAI DIRECTOR
By decree of the President of the French Republic dated 11 December 2019, Prefect Mr. Laurent Fiscus is appointed Director of the National Agency for Automated Offence Processing as of 6 January 2020. He takes over from Mr. Henri Prévost, appointed Prefect of the département of Yonne.

Laurent Fiscus began his career in 1991 as a social policy officer for the Prefect of the Ile-de-France region, Prefect of Paris. After some time at the General Directorate of Local Authorities, he moved to Japan in 1995 as Commercial Advisor at the French Embassy in Tokyo. In 1998, Laurent Fiscus was appointed Sub-Prefect, in charge of the construction of the Toyota plant in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France.

After serving as Deputy Director of Urban Planning and Construction at the Paris Prefecture from 2001 to 2004, he became both a technical advisor in the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry's office and an advisor to the Delegate Minister for Industry, in charge of industrial redeployment and foreign investment projects in France.

In 2006, he took up the role of Director at DATAR, in charge of changes and economic development. In 2010, he was appointed Prefect and Secretary General for Regional Affairs at the Prefecture of the Ile-de-France region. He then became Prefect of Calvados in 2016, a position he held until his appointment to ANTAI.

A former student of the ENA (Victor Hugo class), Laurent Fiscus is a Knight of the Legion of Honour and of the National Order of Merit.
